A personal appeal: please adopt from a shelter. A shelter I have volunteered at, gets 30,000 unwanted animals a year. Multiply that by the number of shelters in the country, and the magnitude of the tragedy is shown. Many are euthanized.
My cat and my dog were both adopted from shelters. Their love is unconditional.

Amen! I adopt from and advocate for rescue puppies, as well as volunteer for a local rescue/foster group here in Cincinnati.
